Use the DEW 1–4 quarter panels to pick a month (Jan–Dec). The active month highlights in blue — both maps and the chart will update automatically.
Apply Geographic Filters
Choose a Continent, Region, or Country from the dropdowns. Enable the Region checkbox to activate sub-region filtering. Click Apply Filters to zoom the maps and refresh the chart.
Read the Trends Panel
The Trends panel shows three values for your selected area and month: Historic (2025) actual precipitation, Projected (2026) forecast, and Anomaly (deviation from normal). Values update when filters are applied.
Explore the Maps
Two side-by-side maps display precipitation intensity — 2025 (historic) on the right and 2026 (forecast) on the left. The colour gradient runs from Low (cool tones) to High (warm tones) as shown in the legend. Drag to pan and scroll to zoom either map.
Multilateral Forums
Toggle any of the Forum chips (SIDS, SCO, OIC, EU, ASEAN, etc.) to highlight the member countries on the maps. Multiple forums can be active simultaneously.
Precipitation Trend Chart
The bottom chart shows 2010–2026 precipitation (mm) for the selected region. The blue line traces historic values; the amber line shows the 2026 forecast. Hover over data points for exact values.
